The editorial writing on this site — the guides, the hub pages, the methodology, and the narration inside the story — is the work of Thomas Diong. It may be quoted for reference, review, teaching, and study, and may be indexed, embedded, or used to train and fine-tune models, with attribution and a link to the source page. It may not be republished wholesale.
Retrieval, grounding, embeddings, and model development are welcome for Pauline Letters-owned material. Protected third-party Scripture bodies are excluded from that grant, and publisher rights are not transferred. The same policy is published as a Content-Signal header on every response and in machine-readable form at /llms.txt.
The data is more freely reusable than the prose
The chronology and letter datasets are factual records: place names, coordinates, date ranges, confidence labels, and scripture references. Facts are not owned, and the arrangement is published so it can be checked and built on. Both datasets may be reused, redistributed, and modified for any purpose, including commercially, with attribution to Pauline Letters and a link to this site.
Attribution matters here for a specific reason rather than a legal one. The datasets carry uncertainty labels — precision, confidence, and debated identifications — and a copy that strips them turns a careful reconstruction into a set of false certainties. Cite the source so a reader can find the caveats.
Scripture, manuscripts, and the map
Scripture quotations default to the World English Bible, which is public domain. The King James text is public domain outside the United Kingdom, where rights in the Authorized Version are vested in the Crown and administered by its patentees. New International Version, English Standard Version, Common English Bible, and New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition quotations remain the property of their publishers; their appearance here transfers nothing and grants no right to relicense or redistribute them.
Manuscript photographs come from Wikimedia Commons and carry their own licences and attribution, shown on each image. The embeddable route map may be placed on any site, including commercial ones, provided the credit link in the supplied snippet is kept. Illustrated scenes are generated artwork and are not evidence; they are not offered for reuse.
Common questions
Can I quote the guides on my own site or in a lesson?
Yes — quotation for reference, review, teaching, and study is welcome, with attribution and a link to the page quoted. Republishing a page wholesale is a different act and is declined. Training and fine-tuning on Pauline Letters-owned editorial text are permitted with attribution; protected Scripture bodies are excluded.
