# 恩典、信心與稱義

保羅怎樣把恩典、信心和善行聯繫起來？

保羅指出，人在神面前蒙接納，是以耶穌基督為根基的恩賜，憑信心領受，而非靠功勞賺取。迎接罪人的恩典，也逐漸使他們活出以愛回應神的順服。

## 先有恩賜，後有回應

在羅馬書3章，保羅先指出猶太人和外邦人都在罪的權勢之下，然後解釋神在基督裡的拯救。稱義關乎人在神面前被算為義；這種法庭用語涉及罪責與神公義的審判。保羅排除了誇口的理由。初次來到基督面前的人，無須先證明自己的道德優越、特殊血統或出色的宗教表現。這恩賜取決於神已經成就的工作。

## 亞伯拉罕為何重要

羅馬書4章以亞伯拉罕說明，信心和應許在割禮之前。這既關乎個人，也關乎群體：罪人如何蒙接納？猶太人和外邦人如何同屬一個家？信心是倚靠神的應許，不是另一種功勞。閱讀亞伯拉罕的例子時，要聯繫上下文的論證，不要把保羅的教導縮減成一句關於個人努力的口號。

## 恩典帶來生命改變

保羅隨即拒絕一種推論：既然恩典豐富，就可以繼續犯罪。羅馬書6章通過與基督同死同復活，說明信徒新的歸屬。加拉太書把信心與實際的愛聯繫起來。因此，善行是這種生命不可缺少的部分，卻不能成為在神面前誇口的另一根基。悔改、慷慨和誠實生活，都表明對基督的倚靠，而不是離開他自立。

## 解釋上的差異

新教、天主教和東正教對稱義、內在更新、信心與聖禮生活的關係有不同理解。保羅研究也討論，個人在神面前的地位與加入神立約之民這兩個層面，應各佔多大分量。這些分歧值得認真對待，卻不表示恩典可有可無。本指南採用福音派因信稱義的理解，也鼓勵讀者先考察完整論證，再評價其他傳統。
