# 恩典、信心与称义

保罗怎样把恩典、信心和善行联系起来？

保罗指出，人在神面前蒙接纳，是以耶稣基督为根基的恩赐，凭信心领受，而非靠功劳赚取。迎接罪人的恩典，也逐渐使他们活出以爱回应神的顺服。

## 先有恩赐，后有回应

在罗马书3章，保罗先指出犹太人和外族人都在罪的权势之下，然后解释神在基督里的拯救。称义关乎人在神面前被算为义；这种法庭用语涉及罪责与神公义的审判。保罗排除了夸口的理由。初次来到基督面前的人，无须先证明自己的道德优越、特殊血统或出色的宗教表现。这恩赐取决于神已经成就的工作。

## 亚伯拉罕为何重要

罗马书4章以亚伯拉罕说明，信心和应许在割礼之前。这既关乎个人，也关乎群体：罪人如何蒙接纳？犹太人和外族人如何同属一个家？信心是倚靠神的应许，不是另一种功劳。阅读亚伯拉罕的例子时，要联系上下文的论证，不要把保罗的教导缩减成一句关于个人努力的口号。

## 恩典带来生命改变

保罗随即拒绝一种推论：既然恩典丰富，就可以继续犯罪。罗马书6章通过与基督同死同复活，说明信徒新的归属。加拉太书把信心与实际的爱联系起来。因此，善行是这种生命不可缺少的部分，却不能成为在神面前夸口的另一根基。悔改、慷慨和诚实生活，都表明对基督的倚靠，而不是离开他自立。

## 解释上的差异

新教、天主教和东正教对称义、内在更新、信心与圣礼生活的关系有不同理解。保罗研究也讨论，个人在神面前的地位与加入神立约之民这两个层面，应各占多大分量。这些分歧值得认真对待，却不表示恩典可有可无。本指南采用福音派因信称义的理解，也鼓励读者先考察完整论证，再评价其他传统。
